Advanced Placement Test Schedule 2010

Each college has the right to make its own decisions regarding the awarding of college credit for work done in high school.

The following information is taken from an overview of the University of South Florida Honors Program .

International Baccalaureate credit is awarded for scores of 4 or higher on the Subsidiary and Higher level examinations (refer to chart below).

Exam........................Score......Credits......Score......Credits
Standard Level.........4..............1...............5+...........3
Higher Level.............4..............3...............5+...........6

Students who earn an IB diploma are eligible for a total of 30 semester hours of credit. Note that a student who does not receive the IB diploma can still earn a substantial number of college credits based upon individual IB exam scores.

To receive AP and IB credit, official test scores and/or transcripts must be sent directly to the University of South Florida Office of Admissions.

Typically, our graduates are awarded up to 30 college credits for IB/AP work.
